Ullapool Highland council region

Ullapool is located in the Highland council region, and is a must see place for those touring Scotland who want to see classic Scotland. Boasting a population of only 1300, Ullapool attracts many visitors who want to experience a historical and classic Scottish atmosphere.

The region is geologically active, and many of underlying theories regarding plate tectonics were developed here. Despite its size, it has a total population of only 217,000.
