For Scotland’s winter tourist economy, the early onset of the snow season is a tremendous boost. All of the country’s major ski areas are open and doing a booming business. According to Scotland’s Sports Minister, Shona Robison, 2011 may even surpass last year’s season, which was the best in fourteen years.
