The event is the most important business to business travel event that takes place in the year and it lasts for two days. After this there is then a three-day trip around Scotland including a visit to Gleneagles, where the Ryder Cup is going to be held in 2014.

There is a five-star hotel at the location where the representatives are going to be staying and they are also going to enjoy a meal at the hotels excellent restaurant. After this they are going to have an opportunity to play at the golf course and really get a feel of what the country has to offer on a golfing basis for tourists from their countries.

As well as golf and the hotel the tourism officials are going to be able to go to The Famous Grouse Experience and also visit the Archerfield Estate. The director of the event is Richard Pinn and he is commented, “This is a very exciting opportunity for golf in Scotland and we hope that all the people who have come on this tour will go home with a very positive message about Scottish golf courses.

We hope they will take the message back to their country that Scotland is a wonderful destination for people to come and enjoy the sport. We estimate that golf tourism is worth about £220 million every year to the country and supports around 4000 Scottish jobs.”
